He called for a staff member to bring him dog food and cold beer. While drinking his beer, he threw dog food into the base and played with the dogs.

Ni Xuanyi observed from the side for quite some time before she was sure that Lian wasn't really going to feed her to the dogs, so slowly, she got up.

Lian glanced at Ni Xuanyi with a disdainful smile. "You said you grew up in the Golden Triangle. How could your courage be this small"

Ni Xuanyi looked at Lian who was drinking beer and playing with dogs, her anger rising slowly. She grumbled resentfully. "What's wrong with growing up in the Golden Triangle I'm not made of steel. Dogs can't kill me."

Lian chuckled softly and then sighed indifferently as if he had a profound insight. "Actually, there aren’t many girls like you who love dogs so much. People would usually cry when chased by dogs."

"Your dogs are all like wolves. How could any girl not cry when they chase her" Ni Xuanyi glared at Lian; this young master really was extremely nasty and didn't consider others' feelings.

Lian seemed to remember something and stopped talking, staring blankly at the lazily sunbathing Samoyeds in the garden.
