Li Yi stayed in Ni Xuanyi’s dormitory for just a short while since it was after all a girl’s room filled with private belongings that made him feel uncomfortable as an unrelated male.

When leaving the dormitory, Li Yi asked Ni Xuanyi for her phone number. She gave him the dorm's telephone number instead.

"Don't you have a phone" Li Yi looked at her in surprise. From what he knew, Ni Xuanyi wasn’t exactly rich, but she wasn’t poor either.

"I... I’m just by myself... no one contacts me... so I didn’t buy a phone." Ni Xuanyi answered with her head slightly lowered.

Li Yi felt sympathy for her loneliness and reached out to brush away some strands of hair from her forehead. Her skin was as soft as the petals of peony flowers, making him linger his fingers on her for a moment longer, "You will have me in your life now. You must get a phone. I’ll send someone over with one shortly."

"No, you don’t need to do that. I can buy my own," Ni Xuanyi recovered and shook her head.
