In the morning, Li An still did not come, causing Yan Luoxi to worry intensely. She could no longer hold back and picked up the phone to call Li An.

Luo Yan quickly answered the call, and the background was quiet. Yao Luoxi felt inexplicably annoyed and asked in a bad mood: "Where are you"

Closing her eyes, Yao Luoxi replied, "Yes, I'll do it."

"Alright then, bring your household registration book and ID card. We’ll go register our marriage right now." Li An said as if he had anticipated this.

Holding the phone, Yao Luoxi was stunned for a moment before resignedly smiling and trying to speak calmly to Li An: "Okay, that’s fine."

"Wait at home. I’ll be right there to pick you up," Li An's voice became noticeably cheerful.

Yao Luoxi hung up the phone and bit her lip hard, feeling a pain in her chest as if she couldn't breathe otherwise.

She had held out for so long, fought against it for so long, yet ultimately could not escape marrying Li An. Thinking about all the injuries and injustices she had endured, all the difficult days she had overcome, she felt utterly resentful.

The clock on the wall ticked away, and beside her, Xian Yán hummed softly. Yi Luoxi glanced at the child and got up to go into the room, trembling as she rummaged through the drawer for the household registration book, then checked her ID card in her wallet. Yan Luoxi walked silently to Li An's luxury car, opened the door and sat in the front passenger seat.
