Yan Luoxi saw Li An on TV, and her just-recovered illness was triggered again. After getting up in the morning, she didn't even eat her favorite breakfast but dragged her suitcase downstairs to check out.

The lobby staff seemed to remember Yan Luoxi and looked surprised and anxious when they heard that she wanted to leave. They asked, "Miss, you... You're not staying anymore Why are you suddenly leaving"

"What's the problem with me leaving Is it a problem" Yan Luoxi was already in a bad mood and frowned.

"No, Miss..." The staff blushed and seemed very anxious. After hesitating for a while, they finally came up with an excuse. "Miss, you booked several consecutive days when you arrived. Now that you've only stayed two days and want to check out, I need to call the manager."

"Can't you handle such a small matter What are you doing here on duty" Yan Luoxi was incredibly frustrated. Seeing the staff's awkward appearance, she sighed and waved her hand. "Alright, go make that phone call quickly. I'm waiting for my trip."

The staff member, as if fearing that Yan Luoxi would run away, whispered to a colleague beside them, then ran over to make the phone call with some caution.

This call took quite long. Yan Luoxi stretched her neck and looked behind several times but didn't see the staff member coming out soon. Frustrated, she picked up her luggage and said, "Alright, you don’t need to keep calling then. It's just a few hundred yuan deposit. I'll give it up as compensation for your hotel."

"Miss, please don't get angry. Please wait a moment for her okay If you leave like this, we... We will be in trouble too," another staff member rushed out from behind the counter upon hearing Yan Luoxi's intention to leave.

What's going on

Yan Luoxi was a bit confused, feeling puzzled and asking, "What are you guys trying to do Did I steal something from your hotel or break any rules Why won't you let me leave"

The waiter who had run behind the counter to make a phone call finally walked out. He smiled apologetically at Yan Luoxi and said, "Miss, we're really sorry. We are new here and not very familiar with our duties, so we've caused you trouble. Please accept our apologies. I will check you out now."

Yan Luoxi felt a bit better after hearing this and waited at the counter for her checkout.

"Miss, are you planning to travel Would you like us to book train tickets or airplane tickets for you"

The suggestion by the waiter caught Yan Luoxi's interest. As she was unfamiliar with the area, it would be a lot less hassle if they could help her book tickets.

"Ah, I'm going to Yantai. I can take a long-distance bus there. Can you also book tickets for long-distance buses"

"Of course we can! Miss, what time would you like to depart"

Yan Luoxi checked her wristwatch; it was not yet eight o'clock. She blinked and said, "As early as possible is best."

"How about 9:30 am That will give you plenty of time without having to rush on the road."

"Alright then, thank you." Looking at the overly enthusiastic waiter, Yan Luoxi couldn't quite put her finger on how she felt.

The outcome: Another room inspection, another list of tasks, and another round of booking tickets. Yan Luoxi spent over twenty minutes before finally checking out.

Originally, she had a good impression of the city and this hotel, feeling nostalgic when deciding to leave last night. After today's morning ordeal, all her positive thoughts were gone. She felt it was for the best that she left.

The taxi took Yan Luoxi quickly to the long-distance bus station. Sitting inside, she began to feel dizzy and weak, breaking out in cold sweat.

She had eaten Sichuan cuisine without restraint last night, which upset her stomach and intestines. She vomited twice early this morning as well. Not eating breakfast made her blood sugar drop even more.

At the moment, she wished someone would be there to offer their shoulder for support.

With no strength left, Yan Luoxi stood up and went to the supermarket in the station, buying a bottle of milk drink and a hamburger. She ate a little, feeling somewhat better.

The boarding process finally began; Yan Luoxi followed the crowd onto the bus. The vehicle was a luxurious coach, clean and comfortable. Finding her seat, she closed her eyes to rest.

Once all passengers were aboard, the bus started moving. The driver turned on the TV, playing a Taiwanese drama series which made quite a racket.

Unable to sleep, Yan Luoxi opened her eyes and looked out.

The streets of Qingdao and passersby slowly passed by her sight; green trees and beautiful buildings continuously retreated...

This city that Yan Luoxi is reluctant to leave, she has to abandon because of Li An; she must flee for love.

The way out of the city was full of twists and turns, constantly turning left and right, causing poor-hearted Yan Luoxi's heart to rise and fall. She also felt a bit uncomfortable in her stomach, quickly putting a piece of chewing gum in her mouth; she finally felt better.

Yan Luoxi felt weak and originally didn't want to sleep, but under the rhythm of the car's movement, she fell asleep eventually.

This nap was quite long. After waking up and watching the scenery for a while longer, she finally arrived in Yantai.

Seeing the car drive into Yantai City, Yan Luoxi felt inexplicably melancholic and sad. This city is completely unfamiliar to her; there's no one or anything familiar here, yet she has to settle down here.

The exhausted Yan Luoxi couldn't help but feel a heat in her eyes. If it weren't for Li An, why would she have such difficulties returning home and wandering about, coming to an entirely unfamiliar place to start over

Yan Luoxi traveled from the southern town all the way to Qingdao and then continued to Yantai without resting properly; after enduring such a tiring journey, she felt both exhausted and tired. Upon arriving at the Yantai station, dizzy and seeing stars, she almost fell down.

Fortunately, a strong hand behind her supported her. Wanting to thank him, Yan Luoxi turned around but saw anxious people rushing out of the station; thus, she had no choice but to follow the crowd forward.

Outside the bus station were many people waiting to pick up passengers, none of whom came for her. This made Yan Luoxi feel even more melancholic.

She didn't know why today felt so sad; perhaps it was related to how extremely uncomfortable she felt physically, making her emotionally vulnerable as well.uit to the nurse, he said, "Since you’re here, take these fruits back for everyone at the nursing station; otherwise, I would have delivered them there myself."The little nurse looked inside the bag w...
